How to collaborate remotely

The future of work relies on us to build solutions for our unique pain points. What needs improvement in your workflow?

In this episode, we are joined by Rajiv Ayyangar, the founder and CEO of Tandem - one of the first viable examples of a virtual office.
While Rajiv and his co-founders Tim and Bernat were building a cryptocurrency tracker, Rajiv noticed the lack of flow in communication when they started working from home more. The first prototype of Tandem was built to solve that issue.
Together with Rajiv, we will discuss:
  • The characteristics and importance of a functioning virtual workspace.
  • How communication creates a feeling of presence when working in an early-stage start-up.
  • How the world of online gaming gives us an insight into the future.
  • Building trust remotely.
  • Group creativity in a remote team.

Stay tuned for the next episode, in which we will talk with Nacho Rodriguez from RePeople and Nomad City Gran Canaria about creating a thriving ecosystem for remote workers.
What should we talk about next? We love hearing feedback and suggestions about our previous and future episodes, so send us an email at jakob@safetywing.com with any thoughts, ideas or guests we should host.
